Keep An Eye Out - A Warning

12,2008 was this interesting PSA card. It was advertised as an interesting labeling
error, that's it. So I don't have an issue with the auction as it did not attempt
to say this was a genuine NNOF. It was, however, SHILLED to death by this seller
and his buddies. But that's another topic for another discussion.
The more suspicious side of my personality sees a potential for future fraud.
Let me sketch you out a theoretical scam.
Suppose I won this card and had, let's say, a genuine PSA 8 NNOF in my collection. A more unscrupulous individual might be tempted to crack open the PSA8, replace the label, and then send it back to PSA for what's called "reholdering" - claiming some accident cause damaged to the original case. Now I have no idea if this might work. But the fact that it might get past PSA personnel, since it's merely a reholder and not a submission, is enough to make one cautious. So note the PSA number: 03661793
