Note: Based on the new SCD Standard Catalog, and the changes made
after Bob Lemke left, I can no longer recommend the Standard Catalog
over the Beckett Almanac. Neither are worth the price. But if
push comes to shove, I would say go with the Almanac and talk with
other Thomas Specialists for questions you may have. I have attempted
to edit all areas where I recommend the Standard Catalog, but I might
have missed a few, so if you see it - either ignore the recommendation
and/or let me know and I'll edit it.

• I've had the pleasure of getting to know several Big Hurt
Collectors, many of whom have some incredible, rarely seen items.
But
I want to highlight one collector in particular. His name is Gary
Brugier (a.k.a. MethodMan) of Toronto, Canada. While Frank
was with the bluebirds, Gary sent vivid and amazing game images he
took while attending games. I can't describe to you how wonderful
these "live" images are, so please visit his Photobucket
site. I hope other fans in the Bay area can do something similar for
all fans of Big Frank.
