Reebok Shoe Tag
(1994)
Collectors
Note: The shoe identified on the back of the tag:
The Pump Arsenal, Series 5-9404.
Arguably Frank's longest and most productive professional relationship. He's been one of Reebok's spokespersons for more than a decade. And a great, and by default, tough source for some of Frank's most difficult-to-find collectibles. From the obvious (shoes, cleats, and gloves) to the obscure (instore posters & point-of-purchase displays) - you're going to find a wealth of stuff to collect. Every year I add another little something to my collection that I didn't know existed, a shoe tag here or store flyer there, all with The Big Hurt.
It's
a never-ending process since much of the material was region-specific. That
means some stores had advertising specially made for their sales region and
would not be seen in other parts of the country. Every so often one pops up
on one of the auctions sites - and even though I'm causing trouble for myself
by encouraging competition - you should make a healthy bid since many of these
items are quite rare.
