Known Frank Collectors on eBay
I've had the pleasure of talking with several of the members listed here.
They are, for the most part, knowledgeable and friendly. I won't lie and say
everyone here is peaches-n-cream. There are some 'distant' types who prefer
to toil away in anonymity (don't have a problem with that). Others who are
more than a touch paranoid (no, I don't want to cherry pick your collection,
I just wanted to say 'hi'). But it's the downright surly buggers out there
that I wish... well let's not go there. Unfortunately there's also one or
two genuine pricks in the line-up (aren't there always?) But I won't name
the guys I consider kooks and angry nutjobs, but they're out there - so don't
say that you weren't warned.
I would like to point out these collectors for special attention -as some
of the nicest Frank Collectors out there - my hats off to you big guys! :-)

UDPATE: As of January 2007, eBay has decided to implement a new policy: Eliminate the IDs of bidders on auctions. Instead they will be placing anonymous bidder IDs in place of real identities. Despite the blatantly obvious fact that shill abuse will rise dramatically and increase fraud (despite their defense that it's actually for our benefit by preventing false second chance offers) - their real desire to curtail deals made outside their realm (and the loss of "their cut") means that you will no longer be able to locate your fellow Frank Thomas Fans with any certainty. |

of you new to eBay probably don't recognize the name, but trust me - this
guy has one of the finest Thomas collections out there. You don't see
his name anymore because he now focuses on the "No.1" card from
various individually numbered series. But when I first joined eBay back
in '98 he was consistently winning all the rare Frank auctions.

NOTE: This list is comprised of eBay members who are consistent
bidders on Frank cards & collectibles. I have noted other premium material
collectors (those who collect the so-called "ultimate" cards from
a given issue) but they're not really Frank fans, just folks into getting
the best-of-the-best.
