I wondered why eTopps didn't issue an 'event card' when Big Frank went yard for his 500th. Guess their history of issuing marginal cards over the past few years (i.e. Marking a freak day by a journeyman player hitting four homers in a single game) wasn't as popular as they had hoped. Repeated poor sales has taught eTopps the lesson of a well-thought out & well-prepared package.

Frank is honored, with other major leaguers who reached major accomplishments in 2007, in this 11-card "Milestones" set.

Note: You need an eTopps account in order to purchase and ultimately have the actual card delivered to you. If you go via the traditional eBay route, you'll likely have to pay much more since sellers will recoup their delivery & handling charges through your purchase.

Finally, I can't speak for everyone, but I like having the actual card in my collection - having done so with every Big Hurt card issued by eTopps, including team cards. When I get my pair (I bought 3) I'll be placing them side-by-side in a large flat acrylic holder for display. I just love these Tobacco-era inspired designs. <g>
