Ever wonder where your Frank Thomas patch card came from? Or more specifically - what the source patch looked like before being cut into your rare card? Presented below are several patches used on MLB uniforms that have found their way onto the scarce variants. I put this page together because I often wondered just what my card looked like before meeting that pair of clippers.

Note: These six are not every single patch that has ever been used on a Frank card - just those that I found interesting (confusing) enough to try and figure out where my cut piece fit into the 'big picture'. <g>

1991 Comiskey Park Inaugural Year Patch	Comiskey Park Patch Variation Used continuously since 1992 on current players uniforms.
2001 AL 100 Seasons Celebration Used by all AL teams in 2001. This is the one that confused me the most since I have one card that has a part of the the "Charter Member" element - and for the longest time I could only find this version of the patch.	2001 AL 100 Seasons Celebration Charter Member Note: Only 8 modern-day clubs can claim this patch as their own.
2003 All-Star Game Patch Chicago was selected as the city for the 2003 All-Star Game. Sadly, Frank was not selected to go, despite the fact that he had earned the DH spot.	1997 Jackie Robinson 50th Year Celebration Note: Surprisingly, this patch can be found in many of today's cards. I've noted at least two from 2005 alone.
