1997 Pinnacle Inside Promotional Can Opener
Quite possibly the 'winner' in any discussion of: "The Most Interesting/Bizarre Marketing Gimmick In The History Of Baseball Card Collecting".

I will however give props to the 1948 & 1955 Topps Magic Photos/Hocus Focus "Spit-On-A-Card" concept. (my thanks to Brad Wackerlin for this disgusting tidbit of baseball card collecting history) <lol>

Remember the introduction of '97 Pinnacle Inside - the so called 'first ever cards in a can'? A wacky concept that, thankfully, disappeared with the fall of Pinnacle itself. But check out this reminder of times past. Also my prime example of why I used to despise Pinnacle Brands.

You know, I'm actually out of words. I will say this: It definitely falls into the 'Unusual' category.
