1995 American Express Signed Credit Slip - Original "Top" Copy

I really LOVE this item! Not only did it come with a wonderful (and true) story about how Big Frank used to take his guests out using a limousine service - but check it out: It has an extremely rare "Frank E. Thomas Jr." signature!

Trust me, that's not a sig that the Big Hurt uses often. In fact, it's not even that well-known among his fans that he is in fact a "Junior". Did you know that during the 1990's three of the biggest stars in Baseball were all "Juniors": Griffey, Ripken, and yes - Frank Thomas. <g>

For the record: I've only seen him use the "Jr." once before - on a very early MLBPA Union Card. It sold on eBay around the turn of the millenium, but unfortunately coming at a time when I was not in a financially strong position. I was so disheartened when it went to another collection that this time around (2008) I was not going to lose. You have NO idea how much my top end bid was on this item. Believe me, if the seller had known, they would've pee'd themselves. <laughing>

Collector's Note: I also recently obtained a 1993 Topps Card Company Contract (from the Topps Vault) also showing the "E" version signature. It'll be seen in a future update.

Validation Note: Don't believe me about Frank being a "Jr."?
Check out Page 53 this section - and look carefully. <wink> ;-D
