2002 Playoff Absolute Memorabilia Signing Bonus
I loved these things when they first came out. But, unfortunately, it was one of those inopportune moments where budget & desire didn't coincide at the same time & place. <g>
Donruss-Playoff's creative efforts were excellent and innovative. Not only their bonus items - like the frame above - but also with other collectibles like their wonderful glass displays and high quality baseball cards. They truly were the natural company to pick-up where the disaster called Pinnacle Brands left off.
To this very day I still hope that Donruss-Playoff gets back their full MLB license. (they only recently received a minor league license from MLB in 2007) We could use a break from the on-going disasters known as Upper Deck and Topps.
