Generally, I don't go for "buy backs" because their limited status is easily supplanted by an overzealous manufacturer who will keep pumping them out to entice box/case purchases.
But this was a special card for me. Back in the day this was one of the first cards I got of The Big Hurt. And to be able to get an autographed example - it was too sweet an auction to pass up.

UPDATE
10.15.07: I recently traded this to my good friend. He has now "reunited"
the two halves of this amazing patch. If he ever publishes, trust me,
you'll be stunned when you see them side-by-side.
Now I know I said I received something pretty amazing as my part of the trade. What that is - you'll have to wait to see until I tackle the final Cards Gallery toward the end of this year. Sorry, but I need to feature it in its proper context - from both historical and collectible perspectives.
