I sent you a scan of a nice/rare/tough Frank Thomas card/collectible - why didn't you put it into one of The Galleries?

While I do appreciate your submission I've already reached the physical limit of my ISP server. I do have a couple of extra free megabytes, but that's for continual updates and the constant work tying-up loose ends. (i.e. Pages I mention that have no link). If I could afford it, I'd buy more space, but being a working man I don't have a the funds to support a professional site upgrade. I'm sorry, but you're talking to a guy with a limited budget. I really do appreciate the submission and one day I'll try to work it into the site. But for the moment you'll have to be content knowing you have a wonderful collectible. <nod> :-)

Note: Those items you see in the Galleries are there so that your fellow Big Hurt Collectors will get a sense of what to look for when searching for a particular collectible. I know that when I started out collecting The Big Hurt I had to rely on generic descriptions on various checklists. Or worse, deciding on making a purchase based entirely on someone trying to describe what they were offering (which was often blown way out of proportion in importance or rarity).

What I really wished for was a site that actually showed me what it was that I was supposed to collecting.

It's true that I added scans of collectibles like patch cards - it's a personal allowance - since those items do indeed represent the namesake of this website: My personal "Frank Thomas Collection".

So, while I do want to hear from you regarding things like your "10 Toughest List" or "You Asked Questions" (text-only additions), pictures/images/scans to the site are not being solicited.
