Card Checklists Overview
These checklists, while as complete and as accurate as I can make them, are not guaranteed to be "absolutely complete" because I'm continually adjusting them to include issues that I've never heard of before.

As noted in the FAQs - there are several issues that I have declined to include for various reasons. You'll find that I do not include non-card collectibles in the cards checklists; that's a common problem with many Thomas checklists that I've seen and used over the years. Mixing them up makes for a confusing mess when you're trying to create a clear and presentable collection. To address this issue I've separated "cards" from "collectibles".

Items such as: stickers, discs, magnets, coins or medallions, tins (boxes and signs), posters (retail and dealer), pennants (player and team), banners, cups or mugs, plates, most ceramic items, and any Frank collectible that does not meet the definition of a card are noted at the bottom of each checklist page as "Notable Non-Card Items". However, some exceptions are made because they fall inbetween the standard definition of a "card". These include: Panini Stickers, Playing Cards, and the two different bronze cards issued by Topps. These are cards in my opinion and can be found in the cards checklists. Unfinished cards and common printing errors (blank-backs, wrong-backs, lack of foiling, etc.) are not included in either checklist. Finally, non-card items that were issued with cards, such as the Pinnacle Mint coins or Upper Deck Tin Signs would be listed in the checklists but are a moot issue since my checklist ends in 1996.

I have endeavored to make sure that every card or collectible listed is a valid issue. I have labored long and very hard to insure that everything here can be obtained by any collector or can be verified via other reputable sources. This means that unlicensed cards are not included. However, because many of the images used are unique and quite nice, I occasionally continue to collect unlicensed cards. I have produced a page which covers and showcases some of the nicer examples*. They are however, for all practical purposes, worthless. (*Because of space limitations I have elected to remove that particular page; if I'm able to cut elsewhere, and if there's enough interest, I'll put it back.)

As you can see the checklists also include a "Notables" section. That's for cards and collectibles produced after 1996, but in my opinion have some significance to either Frank Thomas Fans or the hobby in general. (Note: As of 7/9/06, I have nearly reached the 50MB allowed for this account and cannot publish any of the Notable pages - even though there are nearly twelve pages worth of work and images. Unless I cut somewhere else - they'll stay unpublished.)

If you feel I should include a particular issue - please feel free to email me. :-)
