I had always hoped that Donruss Playoff would "finish" the Spellbound Series, picking up where Pinnacle's 'FRANK' (1997) and 'BIGHURT' (1998) issues left off. When I learned that DP's baseball license would not be renewed (2006) - I thought this might be the only way fans of Big Frank are ever going to complete the run.
