This covers some of the nicer print material I've seen that doesn't specifically fall into a 'campaign' designed for Big Frank. Some of it quite unusual and therefore some of it quite rare.

I mention elsewhere that I'm not a fan of these gold foil cards; and collect them only to cross them off my checklist.

But the box which contained one version of these gold cards was particularly nice.

The illustrated image of Frank is completely hot foil stamped - a technique that was only widely available after the advent of desktop computers.
Prior to that, it was extraordinarily expensive to achieve this type of graphic effect via older photographic and lithographic techniques. Sometimes clients wanting to achieve this effect had to employ a fine artist skilled in either 'sketchboard' or 'linoleum' techniques. Guess that's why I highlight it for your review. That and I really do think it's a neat effect and pleasing to the eye.
