13 Toughest Non-Card Collectibles
a.k.a. 'The Baker's Dozen'

These cover the non-card collectibles of Frank that, in my experience, are the toughest of the tough. I've placed them in chronological order and not in order of importance or difficulty. Please note that this list is subject to change depending on what I observe in the marketplace.

Obviously, there are items here that should be listed here but aren't because I don't know they exist. This will likely include items that were only available in Chicago or the Illinois-area. So I'm very interested in hearing from collectors who have collected unusual Frank pieces such as city bus posters or cab advertisements, old Comiskey Park material, Chicago city banners, etc, etc. It will also include products that Frank was the spokesman for during the mid-1990's. But until I hear from you - these are the Baker's Dozen...

1. 1991-1996 Frank Thomas "Say No To Drugs" Wristband
2. 1993-2003 Reebok Campaign (includes Retail Display Kits, Vinyl Banners, T-Shirts, Shoes, Point-of-Purchase Displays and Posters)
3. 1993 Upper Deck School Folder by Mead (Iooss Collection Cards)
4. 1994 Rain-Blo Bubblegum Campaign Material
5. 1995-1996 Killer Loop
6. 1995-1997 Big Hurt Fan Club Kits *
7. 1996 Frank Thomas Big Hurt Candy Bar: Charity and Retail
8. 1997 Donruss Preferred Fanfest (Cleveland) Small Tin *
9. 1997 Studio Point-Of-Purchase Display
10. 1997 Studio Portrait Collection + Masterstrokes Portrait Collection *
11. 1997 Topps ProShooters Test Marble
12. 1997 Un-D-Nyable's "3-5 The White Sox Got'em Open Up Wide" Music CD / (Update 10.26.07) Recently obtained the Cassette Tape!
13. And this space is for any Chicago-only collectible. Rarely seen outside of Chicago itself were items like: city bus posters, city banners, city advertisements, taxicab displays, etc. Most common: Chicago newspapers which featured Big Frank. More difficult: Material related to his endorsement deal with Chicago haberdashers Bigsby & Kruthers.

Please note that I did not (and will not) include unique objects that only one collector can own. This includes unique cards, original paintings used in cards, test models used in statues, and any unique item that falls into the "1-of-1" or "Masterpiece" category.

* Still looking for one for my own collection
