10 Near-Toughest Frank Thomas Cards
1987-Present
**List amendment 8.22.07

This is sort of the 'second tier' of Tough Frank Thomas cards. IMHO they're tough, but not as tough as the first ten cards I listed. Again, this is based on my experiences and observations over the last 15 years of collecting The Big Hurt. Please feel free to email me your list and when I have a chance I'll post it as a comparison page.

1. 1987 Auburn Tigers No#
2. 1992 Barry Colla Collection Certified Autographs **
3. 1994 Topps Black Gold ABCD Certified Winner *
4. 1995 Pinnacle Checklist Artist's Proof #450
5. 1996 Leaf Big Heart Charity Autograph #1
6. 1996 Liberty Sports #11
7. 1997 Leaf Thomas Collection (any)
8. 1997 Pinnacle Fanfest Playing Card
9. 1997 Score White Sox Team Collection Premier Gold #1
10. 1998 Pinnacle Collector's Club #B2 (Authorized version)
11. And this space is for any extremely limited card that isn't a 1-of-1. A good example of this would be something like the 1998 Flair Perfect 10 - limited to 10 unnumbered issues. This is also my compromise solution for excluding all those one-of-ones. <g>

Click see the actual cards and a brief explanation of why in my opinion it made this list.
